NB3 Jr. National Champion 13-18div Overall Champion

Back in the winner’s circle; Lucky Cruz does it again at the biggest stage. The NB3 Championship was a pre-recorded televised event on Golf Channel. With Charlie Woods as part of the star-studded field, Lucky manage to beat the total field by 3 strokes, shooting 11 under par. Most notable beating Charlie Woods by 13 strokes.

Golod who won the event last year was returning to repeat in the 16-18 div, but has to get through Lucky Cruz in a 1 -hole playoff to decide the overall winner of the NB3 Jr. National Championship. Golod a commit to the UNC-Chapal Hill hits his shot 15ft short of the pin. Lucky Cruz commit to Univ. of Houston hits his shot 10ft short of the pin. Golod misses his putt and taps in par. Lucky lines and measure his putt and drains the putt to win the overall Championship in 2023. Lucky Cruz who turned 16yrs old in Sept before the event, clips 18yr old Golod. The future of golf is very bright with these two competing.

Lucky Cruz joins a star-studded list of NB3 winners in its 4th year.
